Testimony of an Empath
The two who truely feel the joy, the happiness, the suffering and the lies.
Testimony of a Teenage Empath
And oh,
How she weeps for their painful woes.
She kneels to pray for the lost love of those,
And prays for they, the aching,
To feel the joy she rarely picks up on.
Pounding on the ground are the tears from her eyes.
Loudly she cries,
Screaming to the skies,
For her defenseless heart is breaking
From the pain she feels inside.
This curse is her gift from an entity unknown,
To feel for those around her,
Even if she’s all alone.
Sobs of suffering escape her lips
As once again she is hit
With the unending aguish.
So much pain in the world,
And oh so little to rejoice.
Though, she’ll push on
Trying to find her numbed emotions,
Yet, there’s only so much her heart can contain.

Ali ali ali, great work...connected with this on a very personal level...very well thought out...i like it a lot
it seems like a sequel to my Eve Condolences...i like that =]
just watch the repetitive themery like with the emotions she "rarely picks up on" in the beginning and "her numbed emotions" towards the end..try to keep them a bit closer together...but other than that
GREAT!
Superbly heartbreaking!
"This curse is her gift from an entity unknown,

Although I wud say 'this gift is her curse'....and only because she is all alone.
When we have loads of company then there is no time or inclination to empathise!
